Charles Easton is the Deputy Chairman (Membership) of the South Norfolk & Waveney Valley Conservative Federation, an organisation that coordinates Conservative Party activities across the parliamentary constituencies of South Norfolk and Waveney Valley.
In May 2024, Charles stood as the Conservative candidate in a by-election for the Bunwell Ward. Despite a strong campaign, he was narrowly defeated by the Green Party candidate, Suzanne Wateridge, who won by just 10 votes. This result led to the Conservatives losing their majority on South Norfolk Council.
